New Delhi, October 08, 2018: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has crossed the 1 lakh sales mark in a record span of six months since its launch in March 2018 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in three variants: Carb (Front Disc), Carb (Rear Disc) and EFI. It is priced in a range of Rs 82,810-91,810 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The Apache RTR 160 4V is offered in three stunning colours, namely, Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black. The bike comes with with best-in-class power-to-weight ratio and is born of the six-time Indian National Motorcycle Road Racing Championship (INMRC) winning motorcycle – (Group B RTR 165).

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is available in both Carburetor and EFI variants, with the latter christened as TVS Apache RTR 160 Fi 4V. The bike boasts of chequered flag decals on the tank and a fully-digital speedometer. Being powered by a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine, it has top power of 16.8bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 14.8Nm at 6500rpm for the EFI variant and maximum power of 16.5bhp at 8000rpm and highest torque of 14.8Nm at 6500 rpm for the Carb variants. The engine is mated to a 5-speed super-slick gear box. The motorcycle does a 0-60kmph sprint in 4.8 seconds (EFI) and 4.73 seconds (Carb), while having a top speed of 114kmph (EFI) and 113kmph (Carb).
