New Delhi, October 04, 2018: Among every other new unveil or launch, one of the bikes that clearly outshined everything at the Suzuki Motorcycle Auto Expo 2018 venue was the new V-Strom 650. The Japanese automaker brought the mighty 650cc adventure motorcycle up for display at the show to gauge the audience response that will ultimately help the company to get more clarity if they should launch the same in India or not.
According to report published in autoportal.com by Prashant Singh The new V-Strom 650 goes head to head against the new Kawasaki Versys 650 as both shares the same segment and class. The V-Strom 650 runs on a 650cc V-twin engine while the Versys 650 uses a 650cc parallel-twin engine. The V-Strom delivers around 70PS at 8800rpm and 62Nm of torque at 6500rpm. Which is at par with its other Japanese rival. It also gets standard ABS as a safety feature, traction control and triple modes that can be switched on or off when desired.
The Kawasaki Versys 650 received a tremendous response from the Indian bike audience, and if launched, Suzuki V-Strom 650 should attract similar attention as well. But the only deciding factor will, of course, be the price at which it will get launched in India. Stay tuned for further updates from the Auto Expo 2018.
