Hyundai Motor India Launches 13th Nationwide Free Car Care Clinic
New Delhi, September 12, 2012: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country`s largest passenger car exporter and the second largest automobile manufacturer to extend the advantage of its excellent services to its customers, announced its 13th edition of the nationwide ‘Free Car Care Clinic’ campaign today.
The Free Car Care Clinic will be held from September 14 - 23, 2012 and will be organized at over 830 Hyundai workshops across the country.
Announcing the launch of the campaign, Mr. C. H. Han, Executive Director, HMIL said, “At Hyundai we believe in keeping pace with the evolving customer needs and preferences. Our customer engagement programmes like ‘Free Car Care Clinic’ allows us to understand their requirements and helps us connect with them. The ‘Free Car Care Clinic’ will offer a comprehensive 80 point check-up and a thorough examination of the engine, transmission, electrical system, under-body, AC, exterior, etc. Hyundai customers can also avail up to 10 per cent discount on spare parts, selected accessories, extended warranty and other value added services. In addition, Hyundai is also offering an attractive discount of up to 20 per cent on labor charges. The nationwide event sponsor M/s Shell India is also offering various attractive schemes during this Clinic. Customers who have been associated with Hyundai for more than 4 years can avail additional offers.
GippsAERO appoints West Coast Aviation Services as Authorized Dealer in Western USA
GippsAERO, the aircraft business group of Mahindra Aerospace company, has appointed West Coast Aviation Services as a GippsAero authorized dealer for Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Nevada. West Coast Aviation Services will provide new aircraft sales for the GippsAERO GA8 Airvan, an eight-seat utility aircraft that is well suited to multiple market segments popular in the region.

Mahindra to launch SsangYong Rexton in 7 more cities during November 2012
Bengaluru, November 8, 2012: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a part of the US $ 15.4 billion Mahindra Group, today announced that it would launch its premium SUV, the SsangYong Rexton in 7 new cities on November 20, 2012. The Rexton by Mahindra will be available in the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ludhiana, Patiala and Chandigarh, in the second phase of the launch. Mahindra had earlier launched the SsangYong Rexton in Mumbai and Delhi during October 2012.
The SsangYong Rexton is manufactured at Mahindra’s Chakan Plant near Pune by sourcing components from SsangYong, Korea and from India.
Speaking on the launch of Rexton in new cities, Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. mentioned, “For Mahindra, the launch of the SsangYong Rexton last month marked a momentous occasion in our automotive journey. Hyundai sales up 21%, Domestic sales grow 8%, Exports up 50%
New Delhi, November 01, 2012: Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter recorded a 21% growth in aggregate sales in October. Domestic sales grew by 8%, exports witnessed a robust growth of 50%, domestic sales in October were 35778 units (33,001 units), exports were 23,007 units (15321 units) and aggregate sales were 58785 units (48,322 units).
Commenting on the October sales, Mr Rakesh Srivastava, Vice President- Marketing and Sales, HMIL said, “The festivals brought in positive growth in domestic sales with resurgence in petrol variants. All models showed a growth especially with strong demand of Eon and Elantra. In the coming months the challenge would be to convert customer interest into sales as the general inflationary trend, high fuel prices and interest rates are still keeping the customer sentiment low. Speaking about the growth in exports, Mr Srivastava said, “We are witnessing good volumes in South Africa and Mexico along with many other countries. The i10 and i20 are being particularly well received in these countries.”
