New Delhi, December 15, 2018: Honda Motorcycles India will launch the new CBR650R sportsbike sometime in early 2019. It will take the place of the current CBR650F and will rival the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 650 in India.
The new Honda CBR650R sports dual split LED headlamps and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. It gets a fascia similar to that seen on the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.
Clip on handle bars are positioned 30mm lower and further ahead; while foot pegs are 6mm higher and 3mm rear wards. Thus offering the new Honda CBR650R a sportier stance.
According to reports published in rushlane.com 2019 Honda CBR 650R will be powered by a 649cc liquid cooled, in line, four cylinder engine offering 95 bhp power at 12,000 rpm and 64 Nm torque at 8,500 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox with standard assist and slipper clutch.

The engine promises mileage of around 20 kmpl while the fuel tank is of 15.4 liter capacity. The engine is expected to comply with BS VI emission norms.
